EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUD:

Barr. Okey Philip Igwe was born of very noble parentage to the late Joseph & Madam ......rose Igwe of Umuogele village in Amuda Isuochi.
Okey is the .....son and.... 6th child in a distinguished family of ........7children.
Okey\'s early life as a village boy saw him attend Isuochi Central School where he obtained his First Sch. Leaving Cert. (FSLC) in flying colors, & part of his secondary education at the Isuochi Sec. Sch. He completed his education at the prestigious Dennis Memorial Grammar School (DMGS) Onitsha for his West African Sch. Cert. (WASC) before proceeding to the renowned University of Ibadan (U.I.) to read Pharmacy.
Okey\'s desire for knowledge took him outside the shores of this country, to Chapman University, Orange County, in California, U.S.A. for a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice.
His insatiable quest for more knowledge, realizing that knowledge is power, saw him traversing from (California) in the West Coast of America to East Coast, where he obtained his Jurist Doctor in Law degree from the North Carolina State (NC State) University.

Professional Background & Affiliations:

Following his sound academic training he enrolled in the U.S. Armed Forces and is today, a respectable Veteran of the United States elite Air Force.
He is also a member of the American Bar Association; New York Bar Association, & American Immigration Lawyers Association.
He came back to Nigeria in 2010 to attend the Nigerian Law School, Abuja, where he distinguished himself, for his professional Bachelor of Laws (BL) qualification to be called equally to the Nigerian Bar, and is a very outspoken member of the Nigerian Bar Association, based in Lagos.
He is the Principal Partner of Lagem Firma & Partners, an internationally reputable firm of highly respectable & seasoned attorneys.
He is also the Executive Director of Chrisnak Group including the trail blazing Mainland Oil & Gas of international repute.
He is equally the publisher/CEO Oracle Newspapers Ltd.

Family & Christian Life:

Besides a distinguished academic and professional career, Barr. Okey Igwe is happily married and is blessed with two lovely sons. He hails from a very humble but powerful Christian home, with his elder brother, Pastor Paul, the General Overseer of one the most captivating and thriving Ministries in Nigeria today, The Dominion Faith International.
